I’ve been watching the light around me a lot more lately. I love finding new ways to use light in the everyday and ordinary places I go. This week was busy and exhausting. Filled with tantrums, endless battles from the six-year-old, laughter and giggles, and work. It had it’s ups and downs, but more ups than downs.
The morning light before school starts is always super nice. I brought my camera to work a few days to capture Xander in his element. I know these days won’t last forever and he is a hard one to get on camera.I had a cake smash session on Friday evening. It was a ton of fun. This is one of my favorite images from the session.Saturday evening we finally had Noah’s birthday party. He had a ton of fun and I loved celebrating him.Mother’s day was a bit hard for me this year, with the loss of our baby. The grief and sadness hit me a lot harder than I expected. We spent most of the day at home, but eventually got out of the house for some Rita’s Italian Ice.Back to the Monday grind with homework. Can’t even believe Xander is doing addition and subtraction facts in Kindergarten. What happened to circle time and coloring sheets? Our little explorer.Wednesday night was a beatiful night for tee-ball.
